Every streaming app has its own menus, logins and tiny search boxes. You can talk her through it on a call, but only if she can describe what she sees. Most of the time she cannot, so she gives up and switches off.
How it works
Add the neogenai app to an Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV. It shows a six digit code on the screen.
Type the code on your phone. Your parent approves on their own TV. That is the only setup.
Open a show, turn the volume down or see what is playing, whenever they need a hand.

Privacy
Helping is not the same as watching over. neogenai is built so that your parent always knows when you are there, and can say no.
Nothing connects until your parent says yes on their own TV.
Whenever you are connected, a small notice appears on the screen.
The whole family can see what was pressed and when.
One press on their TV remote ends the session and unpairs the phone.
It runs on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV. If their TV is older, a Fire Stick or Mi Box plugged into the HDMI port does the job. Tell us the model on the waitlist form and we will confirm.
Not as live video. Those apps block screen capture on purpose. You see which app is open, the title, whether it is playing and the volume, which is usually all you need to know they are fine.
No. They only need their TV and its normal remote. Everything else happens on your phone.
Remote commands are tiny and work on ordinary home broadband. The picture preview adapts to the connection.
